Jim Reiland, a 1957 Marmion graduate, was a three-year member of the baseball team. But Jim is best known for his 50 year coaching career in Aurora, 28 of those years spent at Marmion Academy. He coached varsity baseball as well as freshman and sophomore football. In the summertime he coached Aurora American Legion baseball. He retired from teaching and coaching in May 2007, but has continued to drive the bus for Marmion teams and does all scorekeeping for football, basketball, wrestling and baseball home games. Jim and wife, Patricia, reside in Montgomery and have three children: David, Karen, and Mary Ann.
